Sibiu Cycling Tour: Martin Laas takes 3rd in the prologue

In Romania the four-day long Sibiu Cycling Tour (UCI 2.1) kicked off with a sharp and short 2.3km prologue today. Martin Laas showed a strong ride on the punchy parcours and finished 3rd while his young team mate Luis-Joe Lührs crossed the line in 10th. T. Van Dijke took the win today.

From the Finish Line

„It was a pretty hard prologue today, definitely one for the sprinters. I’m happy with my performance, I think it was a solide ride. This race is the opener for the second half of my season and it feels good to kick it off with a podium. We’re looking forward to the next days here and hope we can repeat last year’s success at this race.“  Martin Laas
